BOOM MAKİNA
Quality and Management Systems
RELIABLE. TRACEABLE. CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVING.
We manage quality throughout the entire process—from the technical evaluation of customer requirements to design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, delivery and after-sales support—not only at final inspection.
Our commitment
We view quality not only as physical product conformity, but as the coordinated management of safe operation, accurate documentation, on-time delivery, environmental responsibility and customer feedback.
Boom Makina is committed to clearly defining customer and project requirements, integrating applicable legal and technical requirements into its processes, and managing them through verifiable records.
We establish risk-based control points throughout design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and testing; nonconformities are recorded, evaluated and closed with appropriate action.
We regard employee competence, occupational health and safety, control of environmental impacts, supplier performance and customer feedback as fundamental inputs to continual improvement.
Quality flow
Every project begins with clear technical requirements. The result is not merely an operating machine, but an inspected, documented and delivery-ready system.
The application, operating conditions and customer expectations are defined.
Feasibility, risks and contractual requirements are evaluated.
Calculations, technical drawings, verifications and changes are controlled.
Material and component requirements are transferred to procurement documents.
Plates, pins, cylinders and externally sourced parts are inspected against defined criteria.
Cutting, bending, welding, blasting, grinding and priming are performed in a controlled sequence.
Critical dimensions, welds and manufacturing stages are verified through records.
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems are assembled under controlled conditions.
Visual, functional, pressure and leak inspections are performed.
Documentation, photographs, packaging and delivery preparation are completed.
Technical support, feedback and complaints are handled through documented processes.
Data, nonconformities and feedback are converted into improvement actions.
Six layers of control
Quality control is not the responsibility of a single department. Every function—from engineering and suppliers to manufacturing and delivery—owns its part of quality.
Design control
Project-specific engineering, technical drawings, calculations, verifications and revisions are managed through controlled documents.
Incoming quality
Procurement requirements are defined; critical materials and components are evaluated against dimensional, documentary and conformity criteria.
Controlled manufacturing
Operations from cutting through painting are monitored through production plans, work instructions and process controls.
Final approval
Visual inspections, functional tests, pressure and leak checks, and connection verifications are completed.
ERP-enabled traceability
Production orders, inventory and material movements, together with machine, critical component, lot and serial data, are tracked in the ERP system and linked to the relevant quality and final inspection records.
Corrective action
Nonconformities are evaluated through rework, conditional acceptance, rejection or return decisions and followed up with root-cause analysis.
Every product is verified against its own inspection plan.
We do not use a single generic checklist. The inspection scope is defined by product family, model and machine configuration, and the results are linked to the machine serial number.
Hydraulic concrete distributors
- Model-specific concrete delivery-line dimensions, pipe and elbow layout, and end-hose dimensions are verified.
- Boom opening and closing pressures and movement times, together with tower rotation pressures, are recorded.
- Control commands, valve movements, hydraulic connections, pins, clamps and safety components are verified.
- Shipment is not approved until hydraulic leak observation, paint-thickness checks and final visual conformity are complete.
Crawler placing booms
- Brand, model and serial data for the engine, crawler system, valves, display, controllers and remote controls are recorded.
- Crawler movements are function-tested with wired and wireless controls, together with boom-to-crawler control transfer and display indicators.
- Machine functions are verified separately through the main, electric and auxiliary power sources.
- Crawler speeds, stabilisers, engine diagnostics, leak checks and all emergency stops are tested.
Concrete pumps
- Engine, electrical panel, display, control unit, main and mixer valve blocks, pump and S-tube data are recorded for traceability.
- Pumping, engine-speed and flow controls, low-, supply- and high-pressure circuits, and relief functions are verified.
- Accumulator and nitrogen functions, mixer, water pump, stabilisers and manual controls are tested.
- Wired and remote-control functions, emergency stops, tanks, leaks and operating stability are documented in the final report.
Material and component acceptance
- Plate surface, thickness, width, length and flatness are evaluated together with chemical-analysis and hardness certificates.
- Pin diameter, length, bolt holes, oil and grease passages, and circlip grooves are inspected against model-specific tolerances.
- Cylinder open and closed lengths, connection and internal diameters, part codes, identification and supplier test reports are verified.
- Welded manufacturing is controlled through WPS/WPQR documentation, welder qualifications, visual inspection and process records.
The system supporting quality
Sustainable product quality depends on competent people, safe working practices, environmental responsibility, risk management and accurate documentation.
Customer and contract management
From quotation to delivery, customer requirements, technical changes, feedback and complaints are managed under defined responsibilities.
Occupational health and safety
Risk assessments, work instructions, training and shop-floor practices are integral to manufacturing activities.
Environment and resource use
Environmental impacts, waste and resource use are planned and monitored within the management system.
Competence, documentation and equipment
Role competencies and training are monitored; documents are controlled. Measuring equipment is identified and its calibration status is tracked through records.
Supplier performance
Supplier and outsourced-process performance is evaluated through conformity, delivery and nonconformity results.
Internal audit and management review
Process performance, risks, objectives and improvement needs are brought to management attention through periodic reviews.
Management systems and compliance
Certification does not replace daily practice; it provides independent verification of the system and supports a shared operating discipline.
Technical qualification and verification
Management-system certifications are supported by product compliance, independent safety tests, welding qualifications and measurement traceability.
